The House of Gruyères
The famous Swiss cheese dairy La Maison du Gruyère is located near the district of Gruyere. It is in these glorious alpine areas are kept ancient traditions of gourmet cheese.

Gruyere is convenient to get to by train from Montreux and Fribourg . Cheese factory can be visited daily from June to September - from 9 am to 19 pm, from October to May - from 9 to 18 hours.
