The Saint Gotthard National Museum
In the Swiss Alps, on the border between the cantons of Uri and Ticino, is a 50-kilometer St. Gotthard Pass, which crosses the valley of two rivers - Royce and Leventina.
In this area there are many places of memory, which are associated with events that took place here in the late 18th century during the occupation of Switzerland by French troops. This legendary Devil's Bridge, and the famous monument to General Suvorov.
A landmark St. Gotthard is the National Museum. In his room there are various models of renovations pass. Also in the museum exhibition includes many items that were found during archaeological excavations, mineral rocks, historical documents, and more. In the museum you can see weapons, uniforms and personal belongings of the great Generalissimo Suvorov, preserved since the times of military events in 1799.
