One of the most interesting museums in Switzerland - Baur Foundation in Geneva, 19th-century mansion. More than forty years Alfred Baur, a great connoisseur of art, his collection during his travels in the Far East. Priceless collection includes about 9000 ceramic, jade and lacquer ware, as well as antique snuff boxes, prints, netsuke and decorative elements swords imported from China and Japan. The age of most exhibits amounts to many centuries.

Every year the museum organizes several temporary exhibitions. Baur Foundation also publishes a regular newsletter that keeps you informed of the collection and plan a visit.

The museum is open daily, except Mondays, from 14 to 18 hours. During temporary exhibitions the museum is open on Wednesdays to 20 hours. Entrance fee - about 10 Swiss francs. You can get there by bus number 1 and 8 to stop Florissant, № 36 to stop Eglise russe.
