Pro Natura Center Champ-Pittet and Grande Cariçaie
Grand Karis - wetlands in Switzerland area of approximately 3,000 hectares along the southern shore of Lake Neuchatel ; include eight nature reserves. Of marshy landscape, the coastal forests and steep slopes inhabited by about 10,000 species of animals, which is about a quarter of the entire fauna of Switzerland.
In the warm season, from May to October, the swampy nature of the Lake District to explore in the environmental center Champs-Pete, near the thermal spa of Yverdon-les-Bains . Among the unique wildlife equipped trails, observation platforms and special huts for birdwatching. Conservation Center Champ-Pete offers educational tours, interactive exhibits, tours and many other activities.
