Lenzburg Castle

Lentsburgsky lock is in the old town of Lenzburg in the Swiss canton of Aargau. This ancient building is considered one of the most historically significant castles in Switzerland, since 1956 is under the state protection.
The oldest parts of the castle date back to the 11th century. In those days the castle was the residence of Count von Lenzburg. In subsequent years, the owners of the castle were many alternate members of the aristocracy until the 20th century did not bought cantonal authorities.
