Swiss Science Center Technorama

The only research center in Switzerland "Tehnorama" located in Winterthur in the canton of Zurich. On the vast exhibition space everyone can get acquainted with more than 500 different experimental stations that show the general public certain physical phenomena.

Cognitive interest annually attracts the building "Tehnoramy" hundreds of thousands of visitors. In several laboratories museum host seminars on physics, chemistry and biology, as well as presentations on various topics, for example - the greenhouse effect, ozone hole, lasers and superconductivity lighting. Fascinating experiments with the phenomenon of magnetism, sound waves, and many others, thanks to the visibility, enriched with new knowledge and expanding horizons. Everyone can take part in various experiments. There is also regular extra-curricular activities for students, which increase in the younger generation's interest in science.

Hours: daily, except Mondays, from 10 to 17 hours. Access to scientific center is the tram station Oberwinterthur (lines S12 and S29) and then 10 minutes on foot. From the central station to the museum Winterthur delivers bus number 5.
