Derborence Lake

Derborans Valley - amazing beauty natural attraction of the Swiss canton of Valais. In the 18th century two landslide with Diablerets massif, destroyed all around. After the tragic events Derborans was abandoned. Befell created natural rock dam where the lake was formed later.

Today is the intermountain Derborans cupped recess with a pond. Wild forest and the lake are protected zone, rich variety of flora and fauna. Many routes that reveal the incredible scenery, attract wildlife enthusiasts and mountain tourism.
