St. Peter Church
St. Peter's Church is the oldest church in Zurich. Its construction dates back to the 7-19 centuries. During its long history, the church was restored and rebuilt several times. Today, it is a monumental structure built in the gothic style.
The main decoration of the church is a huge dial, located on the main tower. Clock tower are the largest in Europe, dial diameter of 8.7 meters, and the length of the minute hand - about 4 meters. According to this watch for many centuries check time residents and visitors.
The architectural image of the cathedral is a mixture of different styles: Gothic, Romanesque and Baroque. In the main hall harmoniously Romanesque choir, nave baroque and ancient wall paintings.
