Vaud Military Museum

The Military Museum is located in the Canton of Vaud Morges Castle, which is located on the shores of Lake Geneva. This castle was built in 1286 by Louis of Savoy. In 1803, there was an arsenal of Canton, and in 1932 the castle was opened to the Military Museum. 

Today the premises of a former fortress occupied not only the Military Museum of the Canton of Vaud, but the Artillery Museum, the Museum of the gendarmerie and the Museum of historical figures. Military museum features 11 rooms, which are exhibited vintage collection of armor, weapons, samples of hats and shape of Swiss soldiers. In the Museum of Artillery seen over forty original of firearms.
