Salt Mines
Salt mines are located in the city of Becks, the only operating mine in Switzerland. The history of these deposits began in 1684, since then every day to the surface rises 150 tons of alpine salt.
In deep underground tunnels equipped with the most interesting museum, whose exhibits tell the history of salt developments in this area. Visiting the museum, visitors will be able to see firsthand the process of salt production, as well as get acquainted with the various methods of salt production at different times.
Get to Bex from Geneva via train from the main train station of the capital here has regular passenger trains.
